About Condos
PixelTail Games / Tower Unite does not host any of the user-generated content (also known as "Canvases").
Control Custom Content
You can use the Content controls found in the Settings menu to narrow down what custom content ("Workshop models") and images ("Canvases") you feel comfortable downloading.
By default, when you join a Condo, you will be prompted to either trust or not trust the player's Canvas data.
You can quickly untrust Condos using the Tab menu and the canvas data will be made hidden and cleared completely. Disconnecting will also immediately clear the data.
Custom content does not cache, unless you are Steam friends with the Condo host. You can also disable cache settings completely in the Content controls.
Reporting Condos
If you feel a Condo is a harm to you or others, please report the Condo owner using the online report form below.

Condo Content Rules & Moderation
When joining other player Condos, it’s important to understand that Condos are user hosted, and are not fully moderated by PixelTail, except for the content rules listed below.
Condo content that is not allowed under any circumstances include:
- underage characters performing sexual acts or is nude/exposed
- hate speech or racism (including transphobia, homophobia, anti-LGBT+)
- excessive harassment
- doxxing of another user (sharing personally identifiable information)
- self-harm, torture, non-fiction human violent imagery
- animal violence
- antisemitism
- inappropriate imagery or flag usage (ex. nazi flags or flags representing pedophilia)
- promoting public figures that support hate speech or bigotry
- illegal drug usage
- any other illegal content
We may, at our discretion and with no notice, temporarily or permanently take Condos off the Condo server list/hub or limit Condo permissions if we find the Condos contain unacceptable content.
Mature Condos
Condos that contain mature content must tag their Condo when hosting. You must add 18+ or Adult Only into the Condo title while hosting. If you are unsure how to do this, there is a mature content checkbox before you host your Condo that adds the tag for you.
You must follow our Condo content rules and label your Condo title with the keyword 18+. If you host mature content without this tag, your Condo will be delisted.
18+ Condos will not show up on the Condo list by default and players must adjust their settings to display these Condos.
Reporting Canvases
As a reminder, PixelTail Games / Tower Unite does not host any of the user-generated content (also known as "Canvases"). Canvases are hosted on a variety of image hosts.

Many image hosting services have their own reporting system. You can right click on a canvas and open the URL to make a report to their services.
Report images to the image host before reporting to us. They will be able to take action and work with the proper authorities.

Common Questions About Condo Moderation
What happens after making a Condo report?
After you make a report, our staff will look into the report and various activities of the reported user. Our moderation staff will then decide to issue out a Condo ban based on what our staff has found, or make a note of the report if there is no action required to take at this time.
Condo reports usually are handled within 6-12 hours for most report cases.
Condo reports are never shared with anyone other than our internal moderation staff or police. The player you are reporting will never know who reported them. In extreme circumstances, we will share report information to the proper authorities.
Will I get notified when my report was handled or when a ban was issued?
No, you will not get notified when your report was handled.
What about mass reports?
We do not have a system that automatically bans Condos for mass reports. All reports are handled by our moderation staff by hand. We only issue bans based on logged evidence.
Do you use any automation tools?
For Condos, we do not use any automation tools. We do not use AI for any of the report systems.
What happens when a Condo is banned?
When a Condo ban is issued, the Condo will no longer show up on the Condo list and the Condo will no longer be join-able by anyone (including friend invites).
The majority of Condo bans are permanent bans, but we do issue out warnings occasionally for minor offenses.
We issue permanent Condo bans as a final measure and treat them as serious offenses.
